I remember when Brock Lesnar first came to the WWE. It was like all the other people looked relatively normal, and then here comes this guy and his NECK IS BIGGER THAN HIS HEAD. How is that physiologically possible? And then he came and punched everybody with his hands, which somehow were also larger than his head. Dude looked invincible. Now he’s in trouble.
When Dana White, head of the UFC, says you’re in really bad shape, chances are something is terribly wrong. When the same guy says you may never fight again after he’s been passing you off as the second coming of Christ, things are really terrible. Lesnar was first diagnosed with mono, THEN with swine flu, and then with something worse. What’s worse than swine flu? A rare intestinal condition that he’ll need surgery for. White mentioned something about Lesnar going up to Canada and bad things happening, but I’m unclear as to what intestinal conditions you can catch in Canada that are almost life-threatening.
Anyway, the fighter’s been mum for the last three weeks since canceling his next, highly anticipated title bout. White said he would be getting surgery at the Mayo clinic.
Get well, Lesnar. We need people in this world to beat the hell out of people in a cage.
