I went back to read more about this horrible tragedy and I see she still had her ears,so I hope there was no nerve damage and can at least hear/still beable to touch for her senses. I feel so “BAD” for her!!!

can Charla smell,taste or even eat?
It’s horrible enough to lose your sight, but lose smell,sight,taste or
(perhaps hearing too)!!That’s more than I could handle,three maybr four of your senses gone

Charles, dear, what exactly did you expect?? You know the story and your human curiosity drove you to take a peek. Me too. but it is truely disapointing that one would be as shallow as to suggest censoring or announcement of exlpicit content when the situation clearly was a decision between her life or her looks. we need not be sissies and complain of the graphic nature of this. Moreover, it should be made a point for the world to see the life that this woman must now live because of an animal that cannot be controlled being treated as a pet. Cudos to Charla for having the strength and courage to survive this ordeal, and to bury her pride and expose her disfigurement so the rest of the world might avoid a comparable tragedy.

Monkeys are monkeys. Even human beings when triggered can get out of control. I admire Charla Nash for her strength & courage to show herself out on national T.V. just to warn the people and tell her story. I’m hoping that she will be able to receive continuous love, support & concern for a long, long time.
