Several of my friends are professional cosmetologists, and I feel equally qualified to determine what does and doesn’t suck. The “preppy” is a NORMAL haircut. You picked a guy with “preppy” clothes and attached the title, but there is really nothing abnormal about the cut. It’s just. Fucking. Hair.

Second, the “Greasy” picture is clearly not of a person with greasy hair. It’s just black hair with what looks sort of like an undercut. I’ll give you that the hairstyle in that pic is questionable, but the title doesn’t match.
I disagree about the “Robert Pattinson.” I think for a young man it’s an ok style. Besides, you act as if it’s so “douchebag-ish” and someone would have to put in a lot of effort and be a fan of him to get the style. Uh… no. All I have to do is let my hair be natural and grow and use some product. dSpeaking of douchebag, what exactly qualifies someone as having “The Douchebag” haircut? You never even specified. Very vague.. dI thought it was funny you thought of the name “Lego man,” but really, it’s a classy and professional haircut that looks good on SOME people and as for my hair… it’s how it naturally grows. It grows itself forcefully to the side. The easiest thing to do with that is comb it the side… what on earth is so wrong about that? …I’ll give you bleached jersey spikes, faux hawk, bowl cut, labyrinth, emo colored, scene peacock, hairmet, trashbag, snape, and flat top mullet. Fair enough……. also, to quote everyone else: what the fuck other hairstyles are left after your list? Seriously, name 5. and I mean ones from this era that are acceptable for men to have… this article is negative and silly. get a life. kbye.

Buzz cuts… really? What’s wrong with wanting your hair short because it’s hot outside, let alone when exercising. Plus I look pretty good with one (I’m not very manly, so it focuses in on my blue eyes and facial features).

I agree with all of these except the ‘preppy’. I’m not sure how that look is supposed to be preppy but it is extremely attractive and I’d say the ideal haircut.

The only sad part of that haircut is when the guy buzzes it off so he can look ‘tough’ but 9 times out of 10 ends up looking like a little boy =(

So, like everybody else has said, whats left? everything except the flat-top mullet and “the scene” haircuts are actually decent good cuts. They included the “lego man” haircut and “the preppy” as horrible!!?? you know something…the Manolith team who did this page is Horrible! The Faux Hawk, Emo, Preppy, and even the Labyrinth are all stylish cuts that work for different people. I bet you they would consider a shaved bald head a good haircut because there is nothing left to compare it to, then again, the same jealous fruitcakes who made this link are probably the hair club for mens best clients.

this was hilarious, most of this haircuts are ridiculous and there are a lot of non-ridiculous haircuts left. but its ok dying your hair or wearing a ridiculous hairstyle when you are a teen, but its not okay wearing it when you are an adult. mullet, fauxhawk and the jersey shore ones are just terrible.

I would like to fully agree with the last poster, but I would like to add that actually having the flat top mullet would actually render the wearer incapable of computer operation…and thus, these bitter mooks are simply disappointing that while searching for a picture of the flat top so there friends know what to give them, they found the picture here.

Great article, and as a non-bitter guy with a full head of hair I completely agree. It’s spot on in rating punch-ability. No telling how many metal shows there has been where I spotted a scene haircut near the mash pit and drunkenly joined in just for the opportunity to punch the dude in the face. I can’t wait to read a companion piece with acceptable haircuts.
