Comedian and actor Katt Williams was arrested in Georgia this morning after being charged with burglary and criminal trespassing. According to police reports, the homeowner claimed Williams broke into his house last night and stole jewelry.
The 36-year-old comedian is far from broke, and a burglary charge is actually quite surprising for Williams. He’s a successful stand-up comedian that does huge numbers in DVD sales along with shows.
Williams has had his run-ins with the law on various occasions, but this seems a little out of character. It will be interesting to see his take on this arrest.
