UPDATE: Some initial findings have since been retracted. It is now being reported that there was only one shooter, Major Malik Nadal Hasan, and that he is not dead, but at an undisclosed hospital where he is in stable condition.
According to reports, 12 people are dead with 31 more wounded after three gunmen opened fire at the Fort Hood Army Base in Fort Hood, Texas. The base is currently on lockdown with one of the three shooters dead and the other two apprehended. All three shooters were soldiers, however no motive has yet been reported.
CNN and ABC have identified one of the shooters as Major Malik Nadal Hasan, however investigators have yet to confirm.
