Jay Z and Alicia Keys World Series Performance

Jay-Z and Alicia Keys made their city proud last night as they performed “Empire State of Mind” to game 2 of the Phillies Vs. Yankees World Series. The two grammy winning performers took center stage, literally, and gave a performance every New Yorker could be proud of.

The “New Sinatra” as Jay-Z proclaims in the song might have really made “the Yankee hat more famous than a Yankee can” due to his legendary career and worldwide appeal.

When the two performed at the MTV VMA’s a little over a month ago, they were sabotaged by rapper/dancer Lil Mamma as she ran on stage at the end of the perfomance, while trying to get some shine.
