If the name is a little familiar to you, trust me, this has nothing to do with DC Comics’s superhero. Rather, “Black Lightning”, produced by Timur Bekmambetov — the guy behind “Wanted” and “Nightwatch” — is a Russian film about a guy who gets his very own flying car and uses it to fight crime. It’s like “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” meets “Back to the Future” meets “Knight Rider”, only, y’know, Russian.
It sounds silly, and the trailer looks silly, but damned if I’m not gonna go see it. ‘Cause the Russians make good movies, let’s be honest. If you haven’t seen the original version of “Solaris” and only seen the George Clooney version, then you don’t know what you’re missing. Not that that has anything to do with “Black Lightning”, really, which looks like the “Teen Wolf” of flying car movies.
That didn’t even make sense to me, and I wrote it. But that doesn’t matter; check out the trailer below. Warning: it’s in Russian, so feel free to make up your own dialogue. Make sure you include your car-related catchphrase and instance of someone going “NOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

while delicious eye-candy, Wanted was pretty much horseshit and it’s hard to expect much more from this outing. then again, from what i’ve been told, Black Lightning features tons and tons of t&a … so, who knows. looks kind of fun too
This vis going to be one of the major . I hope it will come ovet to the States . Well I will tell them Good Luck .
