UPDATE: The boy was found hiding in the attic of his parents home.
The 6 year-old boy who flew away in the helium balloon his father built was not found at the landing site. Authorities are unsure of his whereabouts and the FAA is currently investigating this situation. Apparently two of the Heene kids were playing around the balloon when younger Falcon got into the compartment and accidentally flew away. The balloon was built by Falcon’s father Richard Heene and was situated at the back of the family’s home.
Continue to stay with us, as we will bring you more details on the status of the search and any new developments. Apparently the parents of young Falcon are both storm chasers and is why the balloon was tethered in their backyard.
