Enjoy that headline. Seriously. It’s probably the greatest thing I’ve ever written. I will never top that. That’s the apex, son.
In a move that is unsurprising, yet completely awesome, a Los-Angeles based rap group called the Get Busy Committee is releasing their album on USB sticks that mimic the clips in an Uzi. First of all, I love that name. The Get Busy Committee. What’s the first order of business for the Get Busy Committee. DO WE GETS BUSY? Yeah, we gets busy. Next on the agenda, public school lunches.
So before we dive deeper, let’s review. The Get Busy Committee, which is on Tokyo Sex Whale Records, released an album called Uzi Does It. That, in comedy, is what we call levels. TGBC’s rep says the album is like rap music you’ve never heard before. So, I’m assuming they put a lot of effort into it, and it doesn’t sound like they’re ripping off old electro beats. As music sales dive deeper and deeper, people have been looking for different creative ways to distribute music. A J.Lo album was released on a rare piece of wood. Steely Dan is starting to release their music in robes that you plug into your head. Hall & Oates just talk to robots, thinking they’ll sing to you. But a USB Uzi?
That’s gangsta son. Internet gangsta. Let’s get gully.
