Is the online game rigged? I can't say for sure. I only know that I went around the board twice, and somehow managed to land on all the same properties both times. :(

This was a 200-word article written a week ago about a fast-food contest. If you're still that invested in it, nothing I can write will help you.

First, I have found so many articles, blogs, news ads, and you are to take a peek at EBAY this year. Some idiot is selling a rare secret list. What that person does not know is the list is published online. Each set or color group has one rare piece. Pretty easy since they are in alpha order (rare pieces) and the list is published but they are selling on EBAY.

Just for anyone who is reading up on the entire Monopoly Game. This article like many others is very incorrect.

White Trash huh? Last time I checked people we refered to as White Trash wrote articles and spoke in the manner this author writes. It is a shame that this entire world is made up of incorrect information. If everyone spent his or her time educating themselves and speaking highly of others this world would be better off.

Three game codes for free play have been issued this year. Rare game pieces are listed online for FREE. FREE GAME PIECES can be obtained via mail which is listed in the rules at playmcd.com. This is GAME, not hand me money. People choose to eat at McDonald's, they choose to play Monopoly. The main thing here is that we as people also REGRET the things we do like read this article.

If you want to slam someone gather your information first and make sure it is correct please.

Seconding Jason - this is one of the most misleading articles ever written. I assume you were going for humor, you destroyed integrity in your failure to achieve it. By law, McDonalds (or any other company running a promotion) HAS to subcontract the promotion to another company, with the intention being that fraud is avoided. Simon Marketing failed, and McDonalds paid the price by having their reputation unfairly damaged because of people like you who completely misrepresented what actually happened. There is more than enough about McDonalds to poke fun at, or even completely slam, without having to blatantly spin facts to try to make a point. The only reason this is so annoying is because this article comes up on a Google search for "mcdonalds monopoly".

Apparently the author of this article doesn't have the first clue about anything he's talking about.

First of all, the fraud associated with the Monopoly game was nothing at all like described in the article. The fraud involved the company contracted to run the game for McDonald's, Simon Marketing. People in the company were removing the winning rare pieces before shipping them out and keeping them for themselves.

Secondly, the whole "beating the system" thing is completely ignorant. There is no system to beat. For each group of pieces that needs to be collected, there is ONE rare piece. Trading pieces with other players would get you absolutely nowhere as the other pieces in the group are trivial to find and are practically worthless. Either you have the winning rare piece or you don't. Nobody with any brains is going to trade it to you; and if you trade it away, you're a dope.

Finally, the author seems to insinuate that nobody ever wins, in part due to his false allegation that McDonald's has created a system that makes it impossible to win. In fact, there are and have been winners for each prize every year. The caveat is that until the fraud was discovered, the only winners were those associated with the ring of scam artists working for Simon Marketing.

Broad assumptions in an attempt to be humorous. McDonalds isn't my fast food place of choice, but it's far from a white trash hang out in the city where I live...where do you live?
