The NBA Preseason got off to a great start last night after Shannon Brown posterized Mikki Moore as the Lakers went on to beat the Golden State Warriors. Shannon Brown isn’t as popular as high flyers such as Dwight Howard or Nate Robinson, but the guy has a 45 inch vertical! He went up against Lebron James in the McDonald’s High School All-American Dunk competition a few years back and held his own.
The Lakers are coming into the preason with a lot of hype and publicity. Not only are they the world champs, but Lamar Odom made headlines last week after he married Khloe Kardashian. I’m sure Phil Jackson will get them all back on the same page and Kobe will handle all the other the important stuff. As for Brown, look for him to get some more tick this year and enter the 2010 dunk competition. If Lebron participates like he said, we’ll be in for a treat.
