Two drunken idiots out for a night of debauchery and casual violence quickly realized the truth that every beginning martial artist knows: you can’t tell who knows what just by looking at them.
The Kingsway in Swansea, South Wales was the scene as two would-be tough guys and their friend hassled random passers-by. Having already scuffled once and eager for more, the trio picked out a pair of what they thought were your average transvestites out on the town and began to bother them, only to find out that the two were actually MMA fighters, apparently out with friends on a stag night. They were quickly taken down and humiliated, eventually ending up in the hands of the local police. The names of the two cage fighters are undisclosed.
So, I have to ask: what the hell? Is this the normal way of bachelor parties in Wales? Was there octagon action featuring high heels? The article raises far more questions than it answers, and the fact that the fighters remain anonymous just adds to the spice. In my mind, one of them was Michael Bisping, feeling his oats and pondering the creation of an all-transvestite MMA league. ‘Cause, y’know, “If your profession is what you love, you never work a day in your life”.
What’s especially entertaining about this story is the accompanying video. Those guys go down fast. And when the shirtless one gets up, he barely knows where he is. Will this change their minds the next time they venture forth to conquer?
