Before Dan Harmon finally got a network to pick up one of his TV shows this season with “Community”, he created a little known pilot that never got picked up called “Heat Vision and Jack”.  This show is a testament to all things hilarious.  A brilliant send up of I don’t know the hell what, it starred Jack Black, was directed by Ben Stiller, and featured Owen Wilson as a sarcastic Motor Cycle.  Alas, all of that was too weird for TV networks that saw a half hour show about a talking motorcycle and said, “I’m confused, I don’t see any point in this show where Ray Romano learns something important about being a father.”  What they didn’t understand was that Heat Vision and Jack had the best fatherhood lesson of all: That having kids is boring, and that it’s way more fun to ride a talking motorcycle around solving mysteries. I have dozens of children and if someone came up to me today and said, “If you give me every single one of your kids, I will give you a talking vehicle to fight crime with,” I would find a bag the exact size of all my children, put them in it and express mail them to him. I guess what I’m saying is, please someone give me a motorcycle in exchange for one or more of my sons.

Below is the ingenious trailer for the show. Also, you can search Veoh.com for the full first episode that never got to air.

No mention of Channel101.com? That's the best/funniest stuff that Dan has been involved in. Laser Fart, Most Extraordinary Space Investigations, Water & Power. All great stuff.
