—-This is utterly misleading and inherently sexist. In highly stressful situations men are more likely to act with physical aggression. Women on the other hand, do react by crying but crying gets a bad rap. Crying is the body’s reaction to processing emotions in a healthy way. After she cries, she feels relief and can then be proactive. A physically aggressive man is likely to only get more and more violent before figuring out how to calm himself down ( and will often then cry in addition.) Now you tell me, which emotional reaction is more rational and sound to you?

Well, according to this list, I am a man. And my husband has some woman-like qualities. Every single point that you made about women, for me, is completely inaccurate. I hate bathroom socializing (I think it’s effing retarded); I only wear three different make-up products and I only wear them when my husband and I are going out; my bed is very bachelor-looking and is rarely made; my husband and I find pretty much all of the same things funny (including things most women find gross); we do the grocery shopping together and eat basically the same things; my husband definately has a say when it comes to decorating and kind of enjoys it (but not gayly so); I never dress up unless I’m going out to dinner or something like that and even then I don’t really try to look glamorous (no heels, no excesive jewelry, not even a skirt or dress, I have a very comfortable, 2-drawer, wardrobe); I hated my dog and my cat and eventually got rid of them because they p*ssed me off and as for my son, I don’t mind him getting dirty, a germ or two is good for him; I am a better driver than my husband, no accidents and only two tickets compared to his 5+ tickets and his three accidents; I love finding out how things work and I can hook up a TV with multiple game systems and a surround sound faster than my husband can, I’m usually the one helping him; It takes a lot to get me crying and don’t be surprised if I fight back; my husband has no problem remembering my birthday and I don’t bring up things from the past; I hate talking on the phone and don’t text very often unless I want to tell my husband something before I forget (usually something about our son or bills, never something useless); I hate being late and I always try to get places on time (I don’t put unecessary effort into my appearance); and, last but not least, I absolutely hate people that multitask, I will hand my husband my phone when I’m driving (yes, I do the driving) if I receive a text or a call. So, your humorless stereotypes are not at all correct when it comes to the average woman. Perhaps you should stop bashing on women and get your a** off the couch. You might actually find a woman out there that doesn’t think you’re a shovenistic pig. And, who knows, she might actually change your sadly scewed perspective on us.

I’d say that a few of those are true for me (especially the texting and emotionality.. as well as the almost getting run over by cars because I’m too engrossed in a conversation).

A few of those resonate with my boyfriend as well, except for the frige (he does have good things, and oddly enough knows more about cooking than I do) and communication.. since he, too, is very chatty and we text each other back and forth about every half hour every day. In fact, I went away for a few days, and I was perfectly content with the long-distance charges keeping me from texting him, and he sent me messages saying that he missed me. It was sweet. To be frank, if I had to live with a guy as dense as these articles describe, I think I’d shoot myself.

First off this was a joke article it was not really supposed to be taken seriously, secondly women who are saying “this” article is biased and stereotypical, well no shit it is we all know that its supposed too be stereotypical. Obvioulsy a lot of women are not like this. There ARE intelligent women out there but just like men there are also those that are stupid and have a lot of ego. Women do need to know that not to take things so seriously its a joke and if your not like the “typical” women this article is saying one is don’t get offended, because if you are that means you probably are one of these types of women. Wow,most of these ‘baseless’ stereotypes are stuff I see daily, while a stereotype can be mean and hurtful it doesn’t have to be. Feel free to disagree but most of this article (however humorous in nature it may be) was true for me and the people I know. Getting uptight and bitchy about stereotypes is as stupid as argueing with a feminist about how sexist women can be (yeah, those caveman jokes are sexist). You either enjoyed the article or you took offense to it, no need to write out an essay about why it offended you or any armchair psychology.

Most men I know, including me, DO constantly think about sex. It doesn’t offend me. It’s not a bad thing, it’s in our biological nature to want to “spread our seed.” You should read a little more up on biology and psychology. I’ve had girlfriends for years, and they are so tiring…

Listen…I am a recently single, 24 year old male who has been in several relationships ever since 6th grade. In nature, the female compliments the male and visa verse. I know a lot of intelligent, down to earth women who I naturally get along with. Nowadays, I date women on the regular…but please…I need just a little break before getting into another relationship. I mean, this list seems exaggerated, but to a certain degree in ALL the females I have come in contact with, this list is COMPLETELY true. Now ladies, this doesn’t make you less of a human, so relax. This just underscores how innately different and more complex you are than we men. I mean, come on, you know this stuff is true. If it’s not, where did he derive all these assumptions from? Out of thin air, and most men and rational women reading this seem to agree? That just can’t be true. Women can learn how to drive well, use technology, and become more practical…but this is all in a man’s NATURE, congenitally and unlearned.

Wow, people do write articles about how men are shit and don’t get complaints like this, double standard much? In the comments claims are made women are overall better than men, which is insane and if it was true then women would have ruled the world since forever, and all sorts of bs that it’s all the negative stereotypes pushed to the extreme. Guess what? Many of these stereotypes are rooted in truth and backed up by science. For example, men vs women in color. X chromosome is where your ability to process color comes from and women have 2 x chromosomes to the mans 1 giving them a much better and sharper eye for color. Science backs up lots of these stereotypes ,but at the end of the day it’s still the average of women, so it doesn’t matter if this pertains to you or not which everyone should realize.

i found this hilarious, even though i can park anywhere, i’ve never been in an accident….but i was also taught how to drive by my dad. i consider myself girly, and though they don’t match every woman perfectly, this was pretty well done.

i think it’s telling that the complaints are mainly coming from women. grow a sense of humor. at the end of the day, your husband isn’t going to try to argue with you b/c he knows he will lose.

and @”Dude”- i almost spit out my iced tea from laughing so hard! my nose burns from it going up my nose, and i almost choked to death, but bravo, sir!

I found this article to be funny, and slightly true to some extent. If we can’t laugh at each other then whats the point, people are to defensive. I am positive there is a ton of crap women have wrote about men so get over it.
