A North Carolina girl and her sister are missing, last seen at home with their mother and adoptive father. Jeanette Hess woke up last week Thursday morning to find the girls gone, with a note from Matthew Hess reading that he had taken them to the store for school supplies. They haven’t been heard from since.
What’s more, 12 year old Keara Lasha Hess is nine months pregnant, and the father of the expected baby boy is undisclosed. Though I hate myself for even suggesting it, doesn’t it seem suspicious that the adoptive father would disappear with her right as she’s expected to give birth?
My bells are all jangling. This is pure speculation based on nothing more than the facts as we understand them right now, and the sordid history of this country, but if Matthew Hess is the father, then at best he is guilty of rape, and he’s going to hide with the girls and try to take care of them himself. At worst, he’s going to do something horrible to the baby. Keara and her 11 year old sister Sierra Nicole need to be found right damn now.
The three might be traveling in a 1993 green Ford Explorer with North Carolina license plates YTE8014 or XTC5271, possibly heading to New York or Tennessee. Didn’t even think of it like that — that the dad may be the father too — but it makes sense. Lets hope it didn’t come to that however, but rather is simply an upset father kidnapping his own kids due to, what may appear to him to be, unfair custody rulings. Or something like that.
Either way, I hope authorities find them immediately.

I totally agree… It’s too suspicious. I think he got concerned about paternity tests or medical issues in the future leading back to him and decided to “get rid of the problem”. I fear the little sister may have known too much and is a potential victim as well. Very sad.

Brandon, he is not the real father so its not some”concerned” father idea that you have,he is the step father. My conclusion is, he has been sleeping with this young girl he is the father of the baby…pervert must pay hope he gets caught and hung!
When i first heard this story, the first thing that i thought is that this man must be the baby’s father. I hate to jump to conclusions, but it just makes sense. That poor child is 12 and for her to give birth without proper medical care may just likely kill her. He is trying to hide the fact that he had a relationship with this child and possibly the other girl as well. Hopefully they return safe and unharmed.
I’m glad to read reports that both girls have been found, unharmed, in Tennessee. They were with their stepfather, who, I agree, does seem like the most likely candidate for the baby’s father. This whole situation is awful, but I’m glad the kids weren’t killed.

First of all it makes sense that this perv was raping this child and fathered her baby why eles would he try to make a run for it. He should pay for what he did to this poor innocent child and her sister as well. And what about Social services, or the Adoption Agency, do they visit with these children after that have been Adopted? what about the teachers in school why wasn’t this looked at closer? We have to protect our children from perverts like this. we must do a better job to protect these children this is not right shes only 12. my heart goes out to this young mother and her sister.

Whoever can call a lillte girl such dirty words is just as crazy and sick as the adoptive father…..the story does say the girls where adopted but doesn’t say the mother is an adoptive mother or biological>
