An entity known only as “Anna the Red” has proven herself a master of several disciplines. First, she creates fully-realized plush toys. Second, she discards the notion that we shouldn’t play with our food by making the most amazingly detailed bento boxes you’ve ever seen. Third, she has an acutely-honed sense of The Cute.
Her day job is as a translator for the online card battle game called Alteil, but clearly her heart belongs to her art. Her creations range from the realm of video games (e.g..: Metroid, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Castle Crashers) to anime (e.g.: Ponyo, My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away) to various pop culture references (e.g.: Wall•E, Calvin and Hobbes, Battlestar Galactica). And while her edible art is the highlight of her collection, her “stuffed stuff” ain’t nothin’ to sneeze at — I’m dying to pick up her plush Master Chief, but none of her stuffed creations are for sale (I shed a tear).
