Popular New York anchorman Ernie Anastos had viewers scratching their heads last night after making an awkwardly inappropriate comment to the weatherman. I’m not too familiar with anchorman jargon besides “Keep it classy San Diego,” but I’m pretty sure Ron Burgundy never said “Keep F****n that chicken.”
Honestly, I had to watch it over a few times to make sure I understood exactly what he said. But, after watching the reactions of his co-workers, I’m pretty sure the above quote is accurate.
I’d imagine after a stunt like this a fine or suspension would be in order. The FCC is pretty tough and they’re likely to make an example out of Anastos. On the flip side, he was able to get some national attention, so that might help career wise. If I were him I’d make “Keep F****n that chicken” t-shirts. Could be another “Don’t Tase Me Bro” phenemon.
