Happens in the suburbs of Dallas often. There are also many stories of coyotes snatching dogs while they're owners walk them in their neighborhoods in these same suburbs. Pretty awful if you think about it... watching your dog get snatched up like that. Happened to a friend and she was pretty traumatized by the whole thing. it’s common for coyotes to come into suburban areas when their habitats are encroached upon.
