The “Roger Federer shot heard round the world” is one of the coolest tennis plays I’ve ever seen in my life. Yes, Serena Williams’ outburst video is the most popular tennis story at the moment, but Federer’s between the legs shot was remarkable.

I honestly thought this was a camera trick based on the ease in which he struck the ball. I hope to see more tennis players use these types trick shots going forward. It adds pizazz to a game that’s relatively golf-esque.

Get ready to see some crazy Nike commercials with Federer dribbling tennis balls between his legs and dunking over Lebron James.

After a long and enjoyable life of writing tennis off (I too believed it to be a bit golf-esque), I have to say it's a pretty damn fun sport to watch. And get into. Lot more excitement than you'd expect. Really!
