You should seriously check out this iPhone app. It’s probably the best two dollars and ninety nine cents you’ll spend in your entire life. If you’ve been living under a rock or have been seriously affected in any way for the last two years, theres this young gentleman singer man named “T-Pain” who has a vocoder and all the kids these days love him. It’s totally true. They keep his face on their binders and such. Whatever kids do these days, really.
Anyhoo, T-Pain has this iPhone app that totally slays. It’s best used with headphones, although I had it going in my car for a little while. It’s basically a mobile kareoke sort of thing that uses T-Pain’s trademark Autotune voice processing thing, that was pioneered by the VERY street and VERY hip hop Cher back in 2000’s “Do You Believe (In Life After Love)”. So just incase you were thinking that this whole “autotune” thing was new and exciting…
Regardless, it’s a lot of fun, and worth the $3. It may just impress somebody who’s into that sort of thing. Here’s a video clip.

I hate you auto-tune and everything you are doing to music today, please leave music to those with talent. Sure its fun to have fun with new technology, but don't capitalize on lack of talent while other more qualified people are left out.
