Genius comes to the iPhone in Apple’s newest 3.1 OS update for iPhone and iTouch users. The Genius mode will allow users to get recommended applications when perusing the app store. The new function is much similar to how iTunes recommends music.
Both iPhone and iTouch users will be able to upgrade to the 3.1 OS system later today. In the meantime, check out more of the live Apple announcements here.

That's actually pretty cool. I always really liked the Genius feature for music, both on iTunes and my iPhone, and so adding it to applications is just great. Another, uhh, genius move by Apple!
