A plane coming from Cancun had been hijacked and landed at the Mexico City airport. Reports are still a little sketch, but so far police have confirmed the capture of 7 hijackers. No injuries or fatalities have been reported and the motive is still unclear.
President Felipe Calderon of Mexico was actually at the airport when the hijacked plane arrived, waiting for his own flight. He was prepared to visit Campeche, Mexico as a part of the grand opening of their hospital.
This is the first hijacked flight in Mexico since rebels took one over in 1972.
