A Bluetooth Headset You Can Wear As A Ring?

The other day I saw a man wearing a gold Gucci headset, to compliment his watch and necklace. And wondered how much more ridiculous Bluetooth headsets could get. Today, I got an answer. Orb has invented a Bluetooth headset that is really a ring. Or a ring that is really a Bluetooth headset, depending on how you look at it. One thing is certain: nerds will now have it way easier getting engaged. The headset transforms from a ring with a twist, and rests outside the ear. Interestingly enough, it has a light display that will emit information about caller ID, calendar reminders, and voice-to-text information. So yes, you will have a ring that will be glowing and telling you things. Your childhood cereal wasn’t too far off. It will be available in a variety of different ring sizes, and can work up to thirty feet away from the source. The base model will launch in January of 2010, and will retail for $129, making it one of the more expensive Bluetooth headsets available for the consumer market. But realistically, you can wear it on your hand. Which makes it worth its weight in gold. In my opinion, at least.

Anyway, this proves, once again, technological advances that will look good on women, are designed to chain them into matrimony.

Will it come in various sizes? Otherwise, it will be worthless as a ring.

You're screwed if you forget to take it off when you wash your hands, though. Unless it's waterproof, which would be awesome. I'd still get it regardless. It actually looks pretty and non-douchebag-ish when worn as an earpiece. Thumbs up.

That's awesome until you forget that it's a ring and you wash you're hands or something..

It is a very clever idea really and whilst I would not use it, it would be handy as I keep losing my earpiece. Very good innovation and it has style.
