Miami Heat’s star forward, Michael Beasley, checked in to rehab this morning on the account of substance abuse and depression. The estimated 30-day stay, as recommended by his team, would appear to be due to Beasley’s strange behavior over the past few weeks, of which culminated in some bizarre tweets and even worse photos that appeared over the weekend.
While most of his recent tweets – found at @GorillaBeas – have since been deleted, the tweets have found new life throughout the internet. A few of the deleted messages are as follows: “Feelin like it’s not worth livin!!!!!!!” and “I Feel like the whole world is against me I can’t win for losin”. So it’s clear the guy wasn’t feeling too happy.
Then of course there was his tattoo photo. Also tweeted over the weekend, the photo features some fresh new ink which says, “Supercool Beas.” Yep. Supercool Beas. But that’s not all. The picture also captured what appears to be drug paraphernalia (check out those baggies!) which you can see in the bottom right side of the photo.
So yeah, rehab: not too surprising.
