How about Excalibur? Sorry if my spelling is bad, I'm not a native Englishman or American... I guess this should be the ultimate weapon? It combines ancient Magic and that even a light-saber couldn't deal with! I couldn't refrain from posting this, as this ancient sword was a part of my inspiration for my Tale Of The Rock Pieces. Best wishes to all sci-fy, fantasy fans!

Only my opinion but I was extremely disappointed by Lynch's interpretation of Dune. I think it is time for someone else to try.

Sorry for the off topic comment..

I was around 12 when Dune hit the big screens way back when.
My friends and I thought the weirding modules were hilarious! Not bad-ass in the least. We ran around after watching pretending to be wearing the things fighting each other. Of course replacing the words used in the movies with F-words, and imaging tremendous explosions from your bad language.

The weird modules do not belong on this list.

Paul, a lightsaber's blade is made of superheated plasma. Plasma is the stuff of suns, and Superman has clearly shown he has the power to fly through suns unharmed. He gets his power from the sun, itself.

Though a red lightsaber might do a bit of damage - maybe - a yellow would probably only make him stronger.

What happings if your light saber runs out of energy during a fight? Pause to change the batteries?

Check out my first and recently released novel, Long Journey to Rneadal. This exciting story is a romantic action adventure in space.
