Legendary journalist and syndicated columnist Robert Novak died today at the age of 78 after year long battle with cancer. In July of 2008, Novak was diagnosed with a brain tumor and opted for surgery soon thereafter.
Novak was best known for having “the longest-running syndicated column in U.S. political history.” Even after his diagnosis of Cancer, Novak continued to write op-ed’s.
From Fox News to CNN, Novak made sure his voice was heard all around the nation. Although he voiced a primarily conservative stance, he was often questioning the Republican Party and their reasons behind certain issues. He will be survived by his wife, two kids and seven grandchildren.
