You have the wrong portrait under Elizabeth Báthory. The Portrait is of Lucrezia Panciatichi. Artist Agnolo Bronzino year 1545.
It is housed in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy.

Note: My wife is a fashion designer she recognized the image and she pointed it out to me.

I have been reading about serial killers 4 years, I was shocked I’d never heard of him I actually felt sick reading about what he did! Monsters all of them so why do the fascinate me so much?

I remember during the Cold War the Soviet Union would always claim they simply had no crime and certainly no serial murderers. Turns out they were just as sick as we are in the USA! The shock that the writer of this article expresses at the fact that Belle had so many suitors when she was “extremely stocky” at just over 200 lbs at 5′8″ is disgusting. That is not that big. You act as though it is humongous. She was probably a size 14, the average for women in america today. By your accounts the majority of american women are too “stocky” to have suitors. I think your surprise in the number of suitors she had would be better suited if it were because she was a psychotic serial killer not b/c she is a bigger woman! big can be beautiful a**hole!

First off, Hitler was not a “Serial Killer.” Hitler was a dictator who ordered the deaths of millions, but he did none of the actual murders himself, thus he does not fit the criteria. Second, I did not read very far into the comments that some you have posted, but as far as I did get; I was appaled and annoyed. A lot of you, (especially the younger generatiom.) find it glamorous or “Cool” to committe murders such as what the people listed above did. There is a site called, Crime Scene Photos. Take a look at the stuff posted there, and see if some of the pictures don’t leave you feeling disgusted, angered, and downright shocked at what HUMAN BEINGS do to each other. Not only the pictures, but the interviews and the stories about what took place should also be held into account. One example would be the Tate/LaBianca murders committed by Charles Manson, and his followers. I did a lot of research on this particular case, and what I read was just astouding, and it made me angry on so many levels. Going along with the Tate/LaBianca murderers; there is an interview of Susan Atkins,(who was one of the Charles Mansons’ followers)on youtube, and she describes everything the she did, and how she is a different person. In the interview she talks about how she still has hope that one day she will be released from prison. The interview I believe was in 2005, but anyways I could not help but feel a strong sense of sympathy for her. Then, I stumbled on the FACTS and the PICTURES of what they did, and said, and they sense of sympathy that I had for Susan Atkins was out the window. It was absolutely horrific, but I’ll let you do that bit of research for yourselves. I know this has been a really long post, and I may have digressed at points, but the message that is being stressed is that there is not one thing that is glamorous, beautiful, or dignified in the taking of another humans life. I’m not saying that my oppinion is the absolute right one, nor am I saying that you shouldn’t post pro serial killer comments on her, or anywhere. That is not my place, but what I am saying is that before you post a comment look at the stuff I listed, and see if you still feel the same way about it.

i believe that all these serial killers listed whether dead or alive should of had their genitals romoved by box cutters and all their finers snapped off one by one. then take a sledgehammer to each ankle, hand, knee cap and elbow. and to finish it off, decapitation of course and burn whats left. seems like a suitable punishment to me
