While it is so easy – and rightfully so – to blame the killers in these situations, you have to remember, these people came from somewhere. And they weren’t simply born to be killers. Time after time, the reason comes to horrible childhoods and bad parenting.

Not that I’m trying to excuse what he did – I’m not. In fact, I feel sick just thinking of what he did – but it just goes to show how much parenting can matter. And also, how hurtful and how much damage you can do to a kid.

Bully a kid and it affects them the rest of their life.
