At about 11AM this morning a 6.9 earthquake hit 360 miles south of the California border, according to the Los Angeles Times. The actual epicenter was in the gulf of California, but no Tsunami warnings have been issued as of yet. As for San Diego, a few highrise buildings were evacuated in downtown. Tremors from the earthquake were the main cause of the quake swarm leading up to San Diego. Some reports even show that Los Angeles residents felt the tremors.
No injuries or fatalities have been reported as of yet and since the quake was six miles deep, it’s not expected to be that damaging.
