I can’t believe I’m watching this movie for the first time! I know I don’t say this a lot but, thank you MTV for this presentation.I have mixed feelings about having cable in my life. It’s kind of just this enormous pit of crap that you hope enriches you in some way. Sometimes there are gems like Summer Catch and sometimes there are just a disturbing amount of hours spent watching the Food Network with kind of a glazed sheen to my eyes.
Ok I get why Freddy Prinze Jr is willing to basically ruin his entire life to be with Jessica Biel in a way I guess. She is in a pretty top notch tier of hot and she likes wearing t shirts and jumping into pools.
Cape Cod is nothing like this. Nothing this awesome has ever happened in Cape Cod.
But honestly if the dude had a clue he would have stayed with the crazy booty call from the beginning who is played by Brittany Murphy, arguably hotter. He over complicates his life by choosing Jessica Biel in my mind. Hope his life works out for him in his fictional universe. Probably won’t.
This cast is crazy! Brian Dennehy in your face, Wilmer Valderrama and Ken Griffey Jr all in one movie. 2001 was an embarrassment of riches indeed, that I never saw Summer Catch which is less a movie and more an experience.
