Today we celebrate National Tequilla Day! Yes! Now, while we Americans don’t allow illegal immigrants into our country (or at least voluntarily), we do like to celebrate Mexico’s most prized alcohol by giving it an unofficial national holiday (like today). So, in case you were wondering how you should celebrate, it’s pretty self explanatory. Drink Tequila! And lots of it. Just remember, by about the 10th time or so you hear the band Champs very famous ode to “Tequila” you should probably call it a night. Or keep drinking. Either one, really.
Now on to fun Tequila facts! Believe it or not, Tequila is actually a city in Mexico, just northwest of Guadalajara. Made from the Agave plant, Tequila was first introduced around the 1650s. As of late, though, Tequila has solidified itself as a premier liquor and its sales have increased dramatically over the past few years.
Last couple of facts. Traditionally, Tequila is drunk straight and without the use of lemon or salt (didn’t know this). Also, most alcohol consuming American’s admit to drinking Tequila more than once a week (did know this). Now, leave us a fun fact of you own. Oh, and drink some Tequila!

Yeah we don't allow illegal immigrants into our country but they keep coming. Tequila is bad as it either makes you horny or violent (although horny isn't bad if you have someone to help you out).
