Mugshot Monday: Johnny Cash

Johnny Cash. Now that guy did some serious drugs. And not the passive aggressive, “Hey, I think I’ll just do some drugs for a little bit,” kind of drugs that you and I correlate drug use to. He was doing some serious pills. And you can bet that at the time of this 1965 mug shot, taken from his arrest at El Paso Airport, he was packing a small army of pills. Enough to, at least, kill a small donkey let alone a brilliant country singer.

But Johnny fought back against the pills and the system and became a total legend. Because that’s what badass people do. They fight things. And Johnny Cash fought things and won.
