7-11′s across the country will be giving away free Slurpee’s tomorrow as a apart of their celebration of National 7-11 day. The company, which was started in Dallas Texas, will be celebrating its 82nd birthday tomorrow. Matching their name to their birth date was pretty clever. I never knew that there was an actual National 7-11 Day.
For those of you in Canada, 7-11′s across your country will also be giving out free Slurpee’s. Each customer will have the option of all flavors and given limited edition 7.11 OZ Slurpee cups.
Giveaways are still going strong for most companies in this tough economic climate. The buzz before giveaways on the internet alone allow for great word-of-mouth marketing. 7-11 has had some tough times in the past, but it looks to be gaining back its ground slowly.
