It’s almost been two weeks since “The King of Pop” passed away and he is still dominating the billboard pop charts. With a total of 656,000 albums sold last week, Jackson holds all 10 spots in the Billboard top pop catalog albums charts. Jackson also sold more than 4 million digital downloads in the past 2 weeks, destroying any other prior week-long record holders.

It might be fitting to change his monarch to “The King of Pop Charts.” There is no other artist that has sold anywhere near Michael’s vast list of albums and it’s unlikely anyone ever will.

According to SoundScan, “Man in the Mirror” was the single most downloaded song last week at around 130,000. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jackson continues to dominate the charts for the rest of the month. His music is timeless and can be appreciated by any and all demographics.
