Bill O’Reilly is at it again and this time believes that the media is wrongfully glorifying Michael Jackson. O’Reilly, who’s no stranger to controversy, even went on to say that Michael Jackson was not a black icon. He reasons that due to the fact that he had white kids and white skin, African American’s shouldn’t claim him.
As the program continued, O’Reilly was joined by two other white news correspondents, who questioned Jackson’s child molestation cases and even compared them to OJ Simpson’s not guilty verdict.
It’s really comes as no surprise that O’Reilly would speak on this topic and take the stance he did. Fox News understands that this type of controversy gets the attention O’Reilly wants and thus use him as a puppet to push their Right Wing propaganda.
The fact that Fox News was one of the major news outlets covering this story makes O’Reilly’s remarks meaningless and without merit. Honestly, it’s a waste of energy to get mad at this guy anymore. I think he’s still bitter about Obama’s victory in November.

For a change I mostly agree with Bill. Come out of euphoria and think, why MJ moved away from being black, especially when had fans of all colors. Was he so brain-dead to not take advantage of being Black-icon? This child molestation thing is also overblown, people does not seem to see difference between sleeping with child with the other thing. Neither I gree with the festival that is going on media about his death; no wonder people does not take media seriously anymore.
