Confession time: I haven’t seen any of the “Ice Age” movies. Are they good? Regardless, the bottom line here is if you liked the first two movies, you’ll probably like this one. Our Heroes uncover a hidden tropical paradise beneath the snow where a population of dinosaurs managed to escape the cold. There are a bunch of subplots as well, but really, all you need to know is: Simon Pegg as a one-eyed dinosaur-hunting weasel. Done. Butts in seats. Check out the trailer below:

Next up, the highly-anticipated old-school gangster flick “Public Enemies” starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale, directed by Michael Mann.

This would seem to be an easy home run for Mann, one of those directors who learned his slick cinematographic chops in the 80’s. And with heavy hitters like Depp as John Dillinger, and Bale as Purvis, backed by craftsmen like Billy Crudup and Giovanni Ribisi, you can expect folks to swarm theaters. But early reviews are giving it a “meh”, citing lackluster performances and a story that doesn’t really do much with Dillinger. Judge for yourself if it’s worth your money by checking out the trailer below:
