So last week Mark Sanford admitted to boinking an Argentinian mistress for the past seven years. Now, today, it emerges that he “crossed the line” with a fair few other ladies. Yes, that’s how he worded it: “crossed the line”. Details are still emerging of exactly how many women he’s danced the dance of the beast with two backs with, but we’d like to think that seeing as he had the frankly somewhat Norman Mailer-esque stereotype “South American mistress”, he also had sex with the broadly stereotypical bunch on the bus in the Sandra Bullock & Keanu Reeves 1995 action flick “Speed”. In which we imagine a world with headlines such as MARK SANFORD SPOTTED EXITING NIGHTCLUB WITH CHARACTER ACTOR ALAN RUCK, it’s almost amazing that this hasn’t happened yet.
