As much as I hate to say it, every major news source in the world has confirmed that Michael Jackson has died at the age of 50. The world’s most recognized musical icon passed away this afternoon at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. With a catalog of chart topping hits and decades of dominance, there will never be anyone as influential or transcending as “The King of Pop.”
This afternoon at around 12:20PM Jackson was rushed to the UCLA Medical Center from his home in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles. Jackson, who had rented a residence in the Bel-Air area earlier this year was planning a major comeback. It is unclear what caused the the heart attack that left Jackson in a coma before finally passing on.
This past week has seen a series of tragic deaths in the entertainment industry. First, the legendary host of Star Search, Ed McMahon. Then the 70’s iconic TV star Farrah Fawcett. And last, but certainly not least Michael Jackson, the greatest to ever do it. Our condolences go out to all families.

I will surely miss Michael Jackson, he is really worthy of the name King of Pop and he is certainly one of the greatest musicians of all time.
