Farrah Fawcett died this morning at the age of 62 after a three-year battle with cancer. The ’70s Charlie’s Angels star was admitted to a Los Angeles area hospital last week and had been in the intensive care unit for the past few days. Family and friends gathered last night as a Catholic priest read Fawcett her last rites.

Fawcett whose battle with cancer has been well publicized via her documentary on NBC, was optimistic throughout the whole ordeal. Insiders even say Fawcett was on the verge of being released a few days after checking into the hospital.
