Well here’s a fun one. Leonard Davis, Marc Colombo and Cory Procter, all three offensive linemen for the Dallas Cowboys, have decided to team up together in their spare time, not to work on their offensive strategies, but rather to make offensive music, uhm, a band! A heavy metal band to be exact. And they’re called Free Reign. Super.
Joining together with guitarist Justin Chapman (note: not an offensive lineman), the band have not only managed to play a show – a fundraiser with DeMarcus Ware – but to have been signed with Riot Entertainment, an Australian label, as well. You know, that big and respectable label that has also signed the fantastic Fozzy (Chris Jericho’s – of WWE Wrestling fame – band). You know about those guys, right?
Self-described as “harder than metal” (diamond, maybe?) Free Reign is looking to move forward with promises of a completed EP due out this fall. Maybe some more shows too. However, don’t expect too much too soon, as they will soon be on a temporary hiatus for the football season. Just when they were getting big too.

I am a cowboys fan but Sorry guy I agree stick to football the sound of the band and the singing is awful......

Gotta agree and not to be mean, they should quit. Would you rather make it on talent or take advantage of your previous fame as a marketing ploy. You do have some skills but would need huge coaching to develop into a valid music carrer. Besides that metal is gone, you may as well be singing disco, I hear the Bee Gee's have an opening.

Has got to be one of the worst bands (and I use that loosly) I have ever heard. At least a band that calls itself a recordable band. Stick to football.
