The Bank of Obama is the latest parody website that makes it look like Obama will bail you out of any financial jam you’re in. When you go to BankofObama.org, it asks you to input fake information about someone you want to trick. It then asks you to make up a reason for the bailout (i.e. gambling, auto debt, etc…), then sends a fake virtual check to the person’s email address.
For $2.99 you can even send them an actual fake check, that they would then have to cash. This is pure genius! Just imagine someone trying to cash a Bank of Obama check at Wells Fargo. That would certainly make for some classic YouTube footage.
I must say though, this sounds borderline illegal. Anything with a president’s face or federal logo can’t be fooled around with.
as long as it’s not the Presidential Seal, they should be fine. i mean, it obviously looks fake. although, having people show up with these checks at actual banks, doesn’t sound like such a good idea
