Artie Lange Destroys Joe Buck on Live TV (video)

I’ll preface this post by noting a.) I’m not much of a sports guy and b.) I’m not too familiar with Artie Lange or the Howard Stern show. I know, I know; what kind of guy am I, right? That said, this new video of Artie Lange loud-mouthing on the new internet-only HBO show “Joe Buck Live“? Pretty amazing, really foul, but worth watching all the same. Oh and I now know who Artie Lange is. A really big asshole (albeit a sometimes-funny one).

Anyway, the show is supposed to be about sports and be led by sports host Joe Buck. But right from the start, it’s clear who’s show it really is. Artie Lange comes out swinging and doesn’t stop once. He starts by calling Jessica Simpson a “fat chick” even going so far as to compare her to the late (and great) Chris Farley. From there he moves onto a collage of off-color gay jokes, culminating with a few about Buck himself. From here on out, only one thing is clear. This is war.

Trying to impress the audience, Lange put a cigerette in his chin (with no hands), to which Buck replies, “I think it’s in chin number four.” Not losing a step, Lange retorts back, “Number four, the show you won’t get to.” Later on Buck asks Lange to take his feet off the table, which leads Lange to remark, “I’m trying to get comfortable. Somebody should look natural on this show.” As I said, war.

With the debut show coming down in ruins, Buck took the end to ask in-the-audience commentator Michael Irvin what he thought. Irvin replied, “It’s refreshing to see white-on-white crime.”
