For the first time in forty-one years the World Health Organization has declared swine flu as a global pandemic. Now, what exactly does this mean you ask? Well, it means that as of today, more than 30,000 swine flu related cases have been reported around the world. From South America to Australia, everyone is feeling the wrath of the swine.

Yet, as serious as the swine flu is, I don’t see the benefit of these national and global classifications. It’s like raising the terror level from yellow to orange…What does that mean! They just want us to panic, invest in medicine and end up depending on their expensive prescriptions for the rest of our lives.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but for all we know, the government could have injected people with the swine flu to stimulate the economy! Ok ok, that might be pushing it, Obama wouldn’t let that happen. On a more serious note, in case you are wondering if you have the flu, here’s a great link to help keep you in the know on Swine Flu Symptoms.

all of this just another way to get the world to be germ-a-fobes and go kill eachother for a bottle of germ-x and soap for their own sick amusement. all it is really is the flu with occasional diarrhea and pukeing. nothing to really worry about... =] <3 Kayla Cupcake
