Yesterday on Late Night, Jimmy Fallon played with Microsoft’s newest Xbox 360 controller, Natal. Introduced at E3 last week, the Natal allows users to be the controller and move their body in sequence with the game. Similar to the Wii concept, the Natal lets you be very active and totally immersed in the game.
No TVs or windows can be broken with the Natal either, as opposed to the Wii. There are no controllers just a mat you stand on that records and transmits to the console. Honestly though, I think Microsoft went a little over their own heads with this product. It just looks confusing and tiring. Especially since most gamers aren’t exactly the most “in shape” people in the world.
