At today’s WWDC, Phil Schiller was the keynote speaker and introduced Apple fans to a wealth of new products and technologies. As VP of Product Marketing Worldwide, Schiller opened up the speech unveiling new upgrades to Apple’s Macbook series. The Macbook Pro, Apple’s most revered laptop, was the big attention grabber after learning it’s new price of only $1699.

The new Macbook series, includes more battery life, an SD card slot and an environmentally friendly energy usage. Labeling the series as “The World’s Greenest Laptops,” Apple did a great job in integrating cheap costs and environmentally friendly products that everyone could appreciate. Although still expensive for our current economy, these new prices are pretty low for Apple’s standards.

Following a few other announcements by other Apple personnel, Schiller came back to introduce the most anticipated product of the year, the iPhone 3GS. From voice command to higher quality photo and video capabilities, the iPhone 3GS will likely be another game changer for Apple.
