David Carradine, the star of the classic 70’s TV show “Kung Fu” and the bad guy from Kill Bill, died Thursday morning in Thailand. He was found in his hotel room by a hotel maid with a rope around his neck. The 72 year-old actor was in Thailand shooting a movie according to the United States Embassy in Bangkok. As of press time, there has been no report of foul play.

Born in Hollywood, CA and raised in Manhattan, Carradine had been around the business his whole life. His dad John Carradine was a legendary actor and he eventually followed in his footsteps. Carradine got his first big break playing Kwai Chang Caine, in the popular “Kung Fu” series. After recently playing the villain role in Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2, Carradine continued to make movies until his untimely death.

The cause of death is currently under investigation, but we will keep you updated as news becomes available.
