One of the most debated calls in NBA history occurred during the 1994 Playoffs when Hue Hollins called a foul against Scottie Pippen, in the last seconds of the Eastern Conference Finals. Having watched NBA basketball all my life, I never understood how this call was so important. Here’s the breakdown: The Bulls were up by one with only a few seconds remaining and the refs blew a late whistle on Scottie Pippen as he brushed by Hubert Davis after the shot. Davis made the free throws and the Knicks went on to win both the game and series.
Now, most of the time you’d just feel bad for the other team and admit it was a bad call. Not in this situation. The ref Hue Hollins is now known for this significantly bad call and continues to make headlines as the worst call in NBA history. I don’t know if I can second that opinion yet. I think I’ll need some more amazingly accurate ESPN facts that depict every bad call in NBA history.
I must say, the officiating in this year’s NBA Playoffs has been pretty good and the lack of technical foul calls makes for more interesting games. Hopefully, it can continue through the finals when Kobe faces Lebron. You know you don’t wanna see the Nuggets vs. the Magic.

"I must say, the officiating in this year’s NBA Playoffs has been pretty good and the lack of technical foul calls makes for more interesting games." I hope that comment was sarcastic. If not, you have to be retarded...AND smoking crack.
