Morena Baccarin: Sexiest Lizardwoman Ever

Morena Baccarin — who most of you will remember as “Inara” from Joss Whedon’s “Firefly” and the spin-off movie “Serenity” — is pretty much Your Favorite Deity’s gift to humanity. Perhaps recognizing this, she’s been cast as the leader of an alien race who’s come to Earth to benefit humanity in the upcoming remake of “V”, the cult classic miniseries from the 80’s.

We reported this a while ago, but now we’ve got a couple of clips to look at — gawk at, really, let’s be honest — of Baccarin in her role as Earth’s benefactor. In her introductory speech to the planet, she looks down upon everyone — literally — from the skies above in this clip:

And then later, preparing for an interview with Scott Wolf:

The one unfortunate bit is that you know what’s going to happen. That’s the problem with a remake/reimagining/reboot of a known property. You already pretty much know the story. So the fun here will be watching the big reveal. How exactly will she get her human face torn off to reveal the scaly horror beneath? Will we get a shot of Morena Baccarin with a long, slithery, slimy tongue? Would she still be hot if that happened?
