In his last appearance as “The Tonight Show” host, Jay Leno will have Conan O’Brien on as his final guest. The 46 year-old O’Brien will be taking over Leno’s position as the 5th host of the legendary show. Although it’s his last show, Leno will continue to stay on television at new time slot: 10PM.

I was too young to remember Johnny Carson and David Letterman is great, but Jay Leno would have to go down as my second favorite late night talk show host. Behind Arsenio Hall] of course.

As for episodes, the milestone show that put Leno in front of Letterman in the late night show battles was when Jay interviewed Hugh Grant after he got caught with a prostitute. Since then, Leno has steadily beat out his late night competition. I think Conan is the perfect replacement and will definitely keep “Tonight Show” alive.
