In what seemed like a whirlwind of bad publicity for Carrie Prejean, ended up working out for her and she will remain Miss California thanks to Donald Trump. The 21 year-old Prejean first made headlines after her response to Perez Hilton’s question on gay marriage where she told America that marriage should strictly be between a man and a woman.
A short time later topless pictures began surfacing on the internet of Prejean. Even more were released today. This put the question of whether she should remain Miss California up to Miss USA Executive Donald Trump.
At a press conference this morning, Trump had this to say “”We reviewed the pictures very carefully. Carrie’s a model, she’s very successful. We’ve determined the pictures taken were acceptable, fine, and in many cases they were very lovely pictures.”
Not a surprising answer by “Mr. You’re Fired” but at the end of the day Carrie Prejean will continue her reign as Miss California. And just for kicks Trump ended up asking Perez Hilton to come back as a judge for another year. Who would have thought?
i wonder if this will bring extra ratings for next year’s show? probably, gotta imagine that’s why Trump did it
